Are you a structured, people-oriented leader with a strong interest in production test quality? Do you enjoy leading technical teams that keep high-volume manufacturing running, maintaining complex test systems problems, solving production issues, and collaborating with partners around the world? At Axis, we develop and manufacture world-leading network video products with the ambition to innovate for a smarter, safer world. We are now looking for a manager to join the Global Manufacturing leadership team at our headquarters in Lund.
Who is your future team?
You will lead the High Volume Test & Production (HVTP) team, a group of test engineers, responsible for maintenance of Axis products in volume production. The team's mission covers a broad scope: first line support to our EMS partners relating to test issues, supporting product quality and yield improvements and driving root-cause analysis when issues arise. The work involves close collaboration with R&D, other teams within Global Manufacturing, and our EMS partners.
As Manager of HVTP, you will report directly to the Director of Global Manufacturing and be part of the Global Manufacturing leadership team. Together, you are responsible for securing long-term capacity and capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-conscious production.
What will you do?
You will lead and develop the group both strategically and operationally, including:
Setting strategy and goals for the team, aligned with the Global Manufacturing agenda
Driving continuous improvement in processes, systems, and data-driven ways of working
Budget ownership for the group
Coaching and developing your team, with clear resource planning and priorities
Building strong collaboration across Axis and our EMS partners
Contributing to initiatives within the Global Manufacturing leadership team
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a structured team-builder with a genuine interest in leading and developing people. You are driven and open, see the bigger picture, and are confident navigating a complex stakeholder landscape. You can bridge between technical detail and practical execution.
You likely have:
At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in complex, international organizations
Experience driving change and implementing new ways of working
Experience from production or manufacturing environments, ideally including work with external partners
A solid understanding of production test, quality processes, or related technical disciplines
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
The emphasis is on leadership and team development, deep specialist expertise in test engineering is not required.
